Postcard Week 8: Cuba
sorry wrong mr linky: for woyww - click here
full postcard story here
this week I finished the Wales pages - writing over the background with Dylan Thomas Poetry, some for him, some for her, there is stamping, waxing, paper flowers, ribbon, the usual tat!

then we have this weeks Cuba postcard:

inspired by Alain Bertrand, this to me IS Cuba...done just in watercolours, finished with a little pen work
and the back:

and the his/hers journal pages:
(wax watercolours on sheet music = hers, collage = his)

ha! the wind in the hair reminds me of a certain four girls in a car park last Saturday....

Hi Donna, postcards and journal pages are wonderful, love the colours on the journal pages :-)
I went to Cuba some years ago and had "My mojito in La Bodeguita, my daiquiri in El Floridita" as Hemingway was reported to have done ;-)
Guess what? Phillipa's head fell off yesterday :-( I've managed to re-attach it though thankfully, otherwise she may have had to carry it under her arm hahaha

OK, I came to see WOYWW, but now that I'm here, I am glad I was able to see your Cuba postcard. You have captured the color and energy of what I perceive to be the Cuban experience.
